Do you recognize signs of giftedness in your child, but feel unsure about what you are seeing or what your child needs?
Many gifted children develop differently from their peers. They may show advanced thinking, strong sensitivity, intense emotions, or a deep curiosity about the world. At the same time, they can struggle with motivation, school fit, or feeling understood.
During this information session, we will explore what giftedness and developmental advancement can look like in children, beyond the common stereotypes.
What we will cover
- Characteristics of gifted and developmentally advanced children
- How cognitive, emotional, and social development interact
- Common challenges (such as underachievement or overwhelm)
- How to better understand your child’s behavior and needs
- Practical ways to support your child at home and in school
This session offers both insight and recognition. It is designed to help you better understand what may be going on beneath your child’s behavior, and how you can respond in a way that supports their development.
This session is intended for English-speaking parents who:
- Recognize characteristics of giftedness in their child
- Have questions about their child’s development or behavior
- Have children in the ages of 0 to 12 years old
- Are looking for guidance, insight, and practical tools
